All itinerary proposals, track permit allocations, and tour pricing supplied via email or quote form are subject to availability at the time of deposit payment. A binding contract is formed only once SouthernTrek issues a written booking confirmation.
All prices quoted on our website or itinerary documents are in New Zealand Dollars (NZD) and include Goods and Services Tax (GST) where applicable. We reserve the right to correct pricing errors prior to confirmation.
Cancellations by the client must be submitted in writing to [email protected]. Cancellation fees may apply depending on non-refundable national park permits and lodge deposits. We strongly advise all clients to purchase comprehensive travel insurance covering trip interruption and medical emergency evacuations.
Outdoor activities in New Zealand alpine environments involve inherent risks (including sudden weather changes, river crossings, and rugged terrain). Clients participating in guided treks must follow all instructions given by SouthernTrek trip leaders.

To the maximum extent permitted by New Zealand law (including the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993), SouthernTrek Limited shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from third-party vendor failures, flight delays, or weather-induced itinerary revisions.
These Terms & Conditions are governed strictly by the laws of New Zealand. Any disputes arising hereunder shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Courts of New Zealand.
